Wellness at work, at home, and in love.
With Dr. Molly Burrets
Welcome. I’m so happy that you’re here.
This is a space for people who want to explore their identity, their relationships, and their lives.
If you're anything like the clients I see in private practice, you've probably built a full, meaningful life.
But you are:
Overburdened, overworked, and flat-out overextended
Afraid you’ll never discover who you truly are and what you’re here to do
Accomplished but unfulfilled – something just isn’t adding up
Unhappy in your romantic relationship or afraid to get involved in one at all
Not sure how to prepare yourself for parenthood
Having difficulty balancing your career and being a parent
Struggling with building a career and confronting the realities of a biological clock
And I’m going to be completely honest with you: I’ve been there too.
My own experiences trying to balance a busy career and family led me to a realization that something was missing.
And that something was me.
Swept up in the whirlwind of this beautiful life I had built, I had become exceptional at taking care of everyone else and mediocre (at best) at seeing and tending to my own needs.
What’s more — I saw the exact same thing in client after client that walked into my office.
As women, we try to do everything and be everything. We were told we could have it all, and we set out to accomplish exactly that. So began the striving, sacrifice, and devotion it took to hit every milestone on the prescribed path to the ever-elusive ALL.
It’s no wonder you feel fragmented, unfulfilled and burnt out. Who wouldn’t?
And that is where I suggest a reframe:
1. Get Curious
I offer a space for you to get curious about whether or not the things you’re striving for are actually what you want. With honest self-inquiry that centers you as the top priority, you can identify what in your life deserves your efforts in this moment and what needs to be shelved or relinquished altogether.
2. nourish your life
Fulfillment comes from putting love, attention, and Intention into nourishing the parts of life that are most important. Not most important to the outside world, but most important to you.
3. Embrace yourself
Maybe it’s time to consider releasing the need to have it all, let go of perfection, and put your energy and love into the things you value most. I’m here to help you embrace your humanity and honor your true capacity, and cultivate acceptance that it’s all a little bit messy sometimes.
4. Find Your North Star
Knowing where to focus your energy starts with identifying your true core values and making choices aligned with those values. Do you know in the clearest of terms what your values really are?
Fill out the values worksheet and identify your North Star:
Meet Dr. Molly Burrets
Women's Wellness and Relationship Expert
Hi! I’m Molly. I’m a clinical psychologist with 16 years experience practicing psychotherapy, conducting psychological research, and teaching psychology at the undergraduate and graduate levels. I developed my areas of expertise in couples therapy and women’s issues at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine, Texas A&M University, and the VA Hospital in Palo Alto, California. I am currently an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Southern California.
From a very young age, I’ve been fascinated by relationships. What began as curiosity about my parents' journey as a couple evolved into an interest in the ways all human beings relate to each other. My passion for people and relationships led me to pursue my education and subsequent career — which is ultimately an extension of who I am and have always been.
My mission has become crystal clear as I’ve helped women and couples navigate depression, anxiety, relationship challenges and other issues in my private practice over the years. Improving the wellness of people just like you, in all facets of your life, is my purpose, my passion, and my commitment.
I’ve witnessed incredible transformations in the people I’ve had the privilege to know and support. And I believe that experience is available to anyone who is ready to do the work. If you sense that it’s time to dive in, then I invite you to join me.

If you and your partner are struggling to find happiness together or feel close, couples therapy can be helpful.
